I’m terribly sorry for my unannounced leave of absents.

The computer I use became unuseable. But It should work now.

Let’s talk about tulpas.

omniphile:

A tulpa is essentially a thoughtform.

The word tulpa is from the Tibetan language and refers to any entity that attains reality solely by the act of imagination. If its creator wishes, this “tulpa creation” may become physical reality through intense concentration and visualization.

Pretty interesting to think about, hm? The notion that the more thought and energy you put into something, an idea, that the stronger it getts.

Even more interesting…

Once the tulpa is endowed with enough vitality to be capable of playing the part of a real being, it tends to free itself from its maker¹s control. This, say Tibetan occultists, happens nearly mechanically, just as the child, when his body is completed and able to live apart, leaves its mother’s womb.

Is this starting to give you shivers yet? The distinct possibility that we, as a race, can imagine something into existence?

Fear something into existence?

Consider it. All that time you spend worrying about the shadows you see and the noises you hear, what could have caused them - someone somewhere else is thinking the same thing. Before we know it we’ve got ourselves a phenomenon, one that we’ve brought upon ourselves.

So think twice before you pin the scratching outside your window to branches and trees.

Think twice before you think it’s just paranoia.

Because you may really have fucked yourself over.
